Marketing Director
Kim joined the Forty team as the Marketing Director in January of 2009 after acting as a contractor for the company for 3 months. With a degree in Marketing and minors in Entrepreneurship and International Business from Arizona State University, Kim actually gets to make use of her degrees and specializations every day at Forty. “The best part of working here is that no two days are ever the same. I get to work with different clients every day which keeps things fresh and exciting,” she says. “I also love our team dynamic. I’ve never enjoyed being around a group of people as much as I do the team here at Forty. You should just sit in on one of our meetings; you’ll never stop laughing.”
A little known fact about Kim is that she actually started an online magazine at the age of 15 where she taught herself graphic design and website building, and has since forgotten everything she learned.
‘Small is the New Big’ by Seth Godin, ‘Love is the Killer App’ by Tim Sanders, and ‘The Art of the Start’ by Guy Kawasaki are some of her favorite books for professional development.
When not at work, you can find her scheming up the next big idea for a business, at the drive-in seeing every new movie to hit theaters, hiking with her dogs, and traveling as often as she can. She is currently active in Phoenix Marketers, Future Business Leaders of America, Commpose, and Get! Phoenix.

16th most played song on my iTunes: “Ruby” by Kaiser Chiefs
What outfit can you remember from your childhood that you are particularly embarrassed about: Black and white striped/checkered stretchy shorts with lace at the bottom and a blue tank top that covered them up so I looked like I had nothing on (oh, and I had worn that tank top for a straight week to school…)
Favorite word combination: Doginality (a dog’s personality, duh)
Worst gift I’ve ever received: My mom once gave me a hole puncher for Christmas
Least favorite article of clothing: pants…or those kid’s shoes that squeak when they walk (who thinks of this stuff?! and who buys it!?)
Most overused phrase: It's a toss up between "Oh man,..." and "Ugh"
What’s the most spontaneous thing you’ve ever done: Decided one day to drive to California…alone…with no place to stay.
Least favorite board game: Monopoly. It takes way too long to play and I never win.
How many times have you been to Disneyland: 30+
What is your super hero name: The Radioactive Scarab
My first place of employment: Subway
Most overrated movie: No Country for Old Men
